Welcome to the Blog : "The Europe of Documentation" or "Eurodoc"

First Year Documentation students in the Nancy-Charlemagne Institute have created this blog to link their points of view with Hungarian, German and Spanish pupils about the World of Documentation.

This exchange starts with the presentation of the various Schools or Universities all around the partner countries. Videos, Interviews of professors and students but also comments on the blog will be presented.

The Nancy Charlemagne Institut
Site Officiel de l'Institut Universitaire Technologique Nancy-Charlemagne

Nancy Charlemagne is a Technological University* which allows to acquire professional and university competences in several domains :
  • Computer science
  • Information and communication
  • Management of Firms and Administrations
  • Marketing.

It is composed of :

  • 110 university teachers
  • 300 professionals
  • 50 technical employees
The I.U.T allows to prepare Technological University degrees which is a training of two years.

The IUT also prepares for the Certificate of University of International Technological Studies which is a training of one year abroad.

* IUT : Institut Universitaire Technologique. The French equivalent of Institute of Technology, that mainly offers 2-year degrees in different areas of study. Please note that, though it is a 2-year degree, the final academic level is closer to a 3-year degree.
